When the plan is the right choice
When paying $2,497 at once would leave you without a buffer. Spreading the cost so that a bad month does not become a crisis is worth $485 of anyone's money. That is what the premium is for and it is a fair trade.
When it is not
When you have the full amount and take the plan out of habit, or because the monthly figure feels smaller. $485 is roughly a tenth of the product price for no additional benefit.
Three questions to settle before choosing it
- What happens if you refund in month two? Do the remaining instalments stop, and is any part refunded? Confirm on the checkout page.
- What happens if a payment fails? Whether access pauses or ends, and whether there is a grace period.
- Is access identical on both options? Some programs stagger content delivery to match instalments. Ask before assuming.
