What Affilorama was
An affiliate marketing training platform and community, and for a long stretch one of the best-known entry points into the industry. A very large number of people who now work in this market started inside it. Alongside it Mark ran Traffic Travis, an SEO tool from the same era.
Why it still matters in 2026
Two reasons, and both are practical rather than sentimental.
The first is credibility that is checkable. When a stranger sells a $2,497 course, the useful question is whether they were here before this launch and will be here after it. Affilorama answers that in a way no sales page can.
The second is method continuity. The Affilorama era was SEO and content. Today's Commission Cycle is Instagram, YouTube and DM automation. Completely different channels, and that is the point — it is the same person having changed traffic source about seven times while never changing what he does with the profit.
